The tree was delivered and planted in midmorning. The Nyssa silvatica (black tupelo) was carefully planted and the surrounding sod removed to support healthy root development The new tree was watered and mulched and we will be monitoring its success in the coming year. In autumn the tree will turn bright scarlet. Careful planting and weekly watering will help guarantee the trees succes.
